Anna Kheifetz's own words about her art

I paint because I have no choice - I have to.

Both my inner world and my outer one include numerous layers, touches both the infinite freedom and the unavoidable bonds - layers that some people call mystic, though I don't distinguish them from the physical realm.

For me, painting is an inner drive - it is the only way I have to express my world, as much as it is a physical compulsion.

My paintings express the synthesis of the infinite freedom and the unavoidable bonds, as well as messages and relationship between people.
